Welcome to NeuroBytes Behavior. I’m so glad you’re here. These Terms and Conditions explain how this website and my services are meant to be used, and what you can expect when working with me. By visiting this site or participating in services, you agree to the terms outlined below. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
My name is Aqsa, and I am the founder and sole provider at NeuroBytes Behavior. I offer individualized services to families through parent coaching rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), along with feeding support based on the SOS Approach to Feeding. These services are educational and behavioral in nature and are not intended as medical or psychiatric care. Please consult your child’s medical providers for decisions related to health or diagnosis.
I practice within my professional scope as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and as an SOS-trained provider. If I recognize that your child’s needs require expertise outside my scope, I will recommend appropriate referrals or collaborate with other professionals such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, or medical providers, with your consent.
To access services or resources provided through this website, you must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using this site or scheduling services, you confirm that this requirement is met.
All content on this website—including text, images, branding, tools, and downloadable resources—is created and owned by NeuroBytes Behavior unless otherwise noted. You are welcome to use these materials for personal education or support. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without written permission is not allowed.
Services can be booked using secure third-party scheduling platforms. Full payment is typically required at the time of booking. I appreciate timely communication and commitment to your scheduled session.
Because time is reserved specifically for your family, I do not offer refunds for cancellations or missed appointments. If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This helps ensure consistency and fairness for all clients.
Before services begin, you will receive a written informed consent document. This outlines the purpose of services, the nature of our work together, your rights as a client, and any relevant details specific to your family. I won’t start any work until this consent is reviewed and signed. If you have any questions before or during services, I welcome those conversations at any time.
In certain situations, particularly with feeding challenges or complex behavior concerns, I may suggest that we consult with or refer to other professionals. This might include a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, or medical provider. I will always discuss this with you beforehand and will only collaborate with your permission.
From time to time, families may choose to share a testimonial about their experience with NeuroBytes Behavior. These are used only with explicit permission and reflect that family’s individual experience. Each child and situation is unique, so results may vary.
Please use this website respectfully. Misuse of the site, such as attempting to copy protected content or access information that is not intended for public use, may result in limited access and appropriate follow-up. I reserve the right to refuse services to anyone who engages in inappropriate, unsafe, or unethical behavior.
While I strive to offer high-quality, ethical support, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. By using this website or my services, you agree that NeuroBytes Behavior is not responsible for any indirect or unintended effects or outcomes. Participation is always voluntary, and decisions about your child’s care should be made in collaboration with your family’s full care team.
When you contact me, sign up for services, or submit personal information, I collect only the details needed to provide meaningful support—this may include your name, contact details, and basic information about your child. Your information is kept private and is never shared without your written consent unless legally required.
As a BCBA, I follow the ethical and professional guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), which includes maintaining client records for seven years from the date services end. During that time, even if you request deletion, I am required to retain records. Once the retention period has passed, I will be happy to honor any deletion requests.
To provide services efficiently and securely, I may use tools such as Calendly (for scheduling), Stripe (for payments), Microsoft Excel or Google Workspace (for secure recordkeeping and data graphing). Each of these services has its own privacy policies. I do my part to ensure that any tools I use handle your information ethically and securely.
NeuroBytes Behavior does not offer emergency services. If you are facing an urgent situation or your child is in crisis, please call 911 or seek help from a licensed medical or mental health provider.
From time to time, I may update these Terms and Conditions based on changes in my services, the law, or best ethical practices. The most current version will always be available here. Continuing to use this website or my services means you accept the most recent version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois. Any legal matters will be handled under this jurisdiction.
