Joint Use

Joint Use

Our Joint Use services is designed to offer a range of solutions tailored specifically to the diverse needs of our clients. This comprehensive offering includes design services that ensure optimal planning and execution, thorough pole auditing that assesses the integrity and safety of existing structures, detailed make-ready evaluations that prepare utility installations for new attachments, and efficient pole permitting
processes that navigate the regulatory landscape.

All these services are meticulously aimed at ensuring that our infrastructure adheres not only to the standards set forth by the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) but also to the stringent requirements of
utility regulations. We take pride in our unwavering commitment to delivering reliable solutions that significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of utility installations. Doing so, we provide our clients with
invaluable peace of mind, knowing that they have access to dependable infrastructure support tailored to their specific operational needs.

Design Service

Our Design service offers a thorough approach that includes comprehensive engineering and meticulous planning required to successfully deploy fiber optic infrastructure. By strategically utilizing existing utility poles and underground conduit systems, including joint trench options that are shared by multiple utility providers, we ensure a streamlined and efficient installation process that maximizes resources and minimizes disruption.

Pole Audits and Make Ready Service

Delivering an in-depth inventory and assessment of utility poles along with their attachments, providing a clear understanding of their current condition and functionality. The Make Ready process involves implementing essential modifications to the utility poles or lines to ensure they can safely support new attachments, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards prior to the installation of any new equipment. We utilize pole loading analysis during this process to ensure that utility poles can safely support the loads they are subjected to, preventing potential failures and ensuring reliability of services.

Pole Permitting

We work closely with major utilities & utility co-ops in obtaining the necessary
authorization to attach equipment to existing utility poles, primarily for communication services such as internet and cable. Our process ensures that all
attachments are safe, compliant with regulations, and do not interfere with
existing infrastructure, typically involving a detailed application process with the
pole owner that may include engineering studies, safety checks, and fee
payments.

NESC Violation Identification

Our NESC Violation Identification service is designed to help organizations effectively identify and rectify non-compliance issues present within their electrical infrastructure and operational practices. This comprehensive service includes conducting thorough onsite audits and inspections, performing detailed assessments to ensure compliance with NESC standards, documenting and reporting any identified violations, and offering tailored recommendations along with corrective action planning. Additionally, we provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that organizations maintain compliance over time and address any emerging issues promptly.
